For the last decade I have been working with plexiglas and wood panels. These thin but rigid materials allow me to think spatially, building 3D models with layered and interlocking elements. Using this technique I have explored various themes, from human portraits to musical models to abstract geometric designs. I also use needle and thread to draw delicate motives on the surfaces of my works. By mixing traditional needlework with laser technology I can create fresh and unique compositions which cannot be found elsewhere.
